The design of the Soft Pad armchairs dates back to 1969. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Both in construction and shape, the Soft Pad EA222 chairs are similar to the EA series. However, their sewn-on cushions form a striking contrast to the slim aluminum profile. The Soft Pad Chairs are softer and more luxurious, but still retain the same sleek shape. The seats adapt to the body and offer exceptional seating comfort. This cashmere grey leather EA222 was produced in the 1990s and is in very good condition consistent with age and use.
